LuckyRook Responsible Social Gaming Policy
1.Our Commitment
LuckyRook is built to be entertainment: cards with friends, a spin of the wheel, a bit of friendly rivalry. It is a social casino, which means you can never win or lose real money here. Chips and Gold Bullion are play currencies with no cash value.
Even so, casino-style games can take up more time, money or headspace than you meant them to, and for some people they can become a problem. We would rather you play a little less and enjoy it than play a lot and regret it. This page explains the tools we give you, the warning signs to watch for, and where to find free, confidential help.
2.Keeping It Fun
Some simple habits keep play healthy:
- Decide your limits before you start, both for time and for anything you might spend on Bullion, and stop when you reach them.
- Treat any purchase as the cost of entertainment, like a movie ticket. Bullion has no cash value and cannot be won back as money.
- Never borrow money, use money meant for bills, or use someone else's card to buy Bullion.
- Take regular breaks. Get up, stretch, have a meal, talk to someone. The tables will still be there.
- Don't play to escape stress, sadness, loneliness or boredom, and don't play when you are upset, very tired, or have been drinking.
- Don't chase. A losing streak with play Chips is just that. Trying to "win it back" is a habit worth noticing, even when the money isn't real.
- Keep other parts of your life in balance: sleep, work or study, family, friends and other hobbies come first.
- Remember the games are random. Every result is decided by the server's random number generator. There are no "hot" tables, lucky seats or systems that beat the odds, and nothing you do here teaches you how to win at real-money gambling.
3.Warning Signs
It may be time to take a break, or talk to someone, if you notice that you are:
- playing for longer than you planned, or finding it hard to stop;
- spending more on Bullion than you can comfortably afford, or hiding what you spend;
- thinking about the games a lot when you are not playing, or feeling restless or irritable when you can't play;
- playing to feel better when you are down, anxious or stressed;
- neglecting sleep, meals, work, study, family or friends because of playing;
- lying to people close to you about how much you play or spend;
- chasing losses, or feeling you need to keep playing to get back to where you were; or
- moving from social casino games towards real-money gambling to "win for real", or finding that real-money gambling is becoming a problem.
Noticing one of these does not mean something is wrong, but it is worth taking seriously. The help lines in Section 6 are free and confidential, and you do not need to have a "serious" problem to call.
4.Tools on LuckyRook
Take a time-out
From Settings, you can start a time-out for 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or 90 days. During a time-out you cannot place bets, start a game, buy in at a table, host a private table or buy Bullion packs. You can still sign in, chat and see your account.
A time-out is designed to hold firm when it matters: it can be extended, but it cannot be shortened or lifted early, not even by our support team, so please choose a length you are comfortable with.
Longer breaks and self-exclusion
If you want a longer break than 90 days, or want to stop playing LuckyRook for good, open a Member Ticket and choose Responsible Play Request. We can set a longer time-out on your account or close it for you. You can also close your account yourself at any time from Settings (Danger Zone); this is permanent.
We will not send you offers or encouragement to come back during a time-out you have asked for. If you also play elsewhere, consider using the self-exclusion tools those services and your local area offer (see Section 6).
Control your spending
- We never store your full card number, and every purchase is a one-time payment you start yourself. There are no subscriptions.
- Many banks and card issuers let you block gambling and gaming merchants or set spending limits on your card in their app; ask your bank if yours does.
- Phone and computer app stores and operating systems let you require a password or approval for purchases.
Limit your time
Your phone and computer have built-in tools to set daily time limits for websites and apps, such as Screen Time on Apple devices and Digital Wellbeing or Family Link on Android and Chrome. Setting a limit for LuckyRook is a simple way to stay in control. Blocking software can also stop access to casino-style sites entirely.
Tone things down
You can mute sounds from Settings and switch off other players' table reactions (Table Emotes). Some players find a quieter table easier to walk away from.
5.Protecting Young People
LuckyRook is only for adults aged 18 or older, and we close accounts that we learn belong to someone younger. Even without real-money prizes, casino-style games are not meant for children.
If you share a device with young people:
- stay signed out when you are not playing, and do not save your password in a shared browser;
- keep your payment cards secure, and require a password for purchases;
- use parental controls such as Apple Screen Time, Google Family Link or Microsoft Family Safety to block unsuitable sites and apps; and
- if a child has made a purchase on LuckyRook, contact us through a Member Ticket (see our Payment, Refund & Chargeback Policy).
6.Where to Get Help

7.Helping Someone Else
If you are worried about a friend or family member:
- choose a calm moment to talk, and focus on how their playing seems to be affecting them rather than on blame;
- listen, and let them know you care and that help is available;
- avoid lending money or paying off debts for them, which can make things harder; and
- look after yourself too: Gam-Anon and the help lines above support families and friends, not just players.
If you are worried about another LuckyRook player, you can let us know through a Member Ticket (Responsible Play Request). We cannot share details about another player's account, but we take concerns seriously.
8.What We Do
- No real-money prizes. Nothing on LuckyRook can be won as money or exchanged for money.
- Adults only. Every account must be 18 or older, and we act on reports of underage play.
- Honest odds. Game rules, paytables and published return-to-player figures are in the Game Rules tab of the Support Codex, and many games can be checked with provably-fair seeds.
- Firm time-outs that cannot be undone early, and longer breaks or account closure on request.
- No pressure during a break: we do not send offers to players on a time-out they asked for.
- Honest marketing: we do not suggest that social casino play leads to real-money winnings, and we do not target anyone under 18.
We will keep improving the tools on this page. If there is something that would help you play more comfortably, tell us through a Member Ticket.
